Acure’s Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil Review

Certified Organic Aromatherapeutic Coconut Argan Oil Refreshed Radiance

Acure

Family owned and operated, the Acure Organics company focuses on using high-quality natural and organic ingredients in their products. All of their products must meet the company’s standards and are free of the following:

? Animal Testing

? Parabens – Parabens have been associated with disruptions of the endocrine system, cancer, and developmental and reproductive toxicity.

? Sulfates – Sulfates are associated with skin irritation, developmental and reproductive toxicity, organ toxicity, cancer, and disruptions of the endocrine system.

? Phthalates – Phthalates have been associated with disruptions of the endocrine system, cancer, and developmental and reproductive toxicity.

? Synthetic Fragrances – There are thousands of chemicals that can fall under this category so it’s hard to pinpoint health concerns associated with synthetic fragrances. However, in general the health concerns associated with synthetic fragrances are asthma, allergies, and developmental and reproductive toxicity.

? Harmful Preservatives – Some preservatives used in personal care products are intended to prevent microbial growth, especially in water-based products. However, some of these preservatives are quite harmful and can result in skin irritation as well as cancer.

? Artificial Colors – Artificial colors are created using petroleum and coal tar. Most often, these ingredients contain toxic heavy metals that are absorbed through the skin and can result in health concerns like allergies, developmental and reproductive toxicity, cancer, neurological problems, etc.

What I Think

Argan oil is well-documented as treating various skin concerns. It’s full of beneficial skin nutrients like vitamin E, essential fatty acids and proteins. Acure’s Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil is quite versatile and I really love the fact that the ingredients are simple and organic. I’m really particular about scents in personal care products and I just love the natural coconut scent of this oil.Β However, if you are not a fan of the coconut scent, Acure Organics does offer the regular Moroccan Argan Oil without any additional fragrances. Sometimes, I like to close my eyes and smell the yummy coconut scent. Then, I’m taken to a beach in the Caribbean enjoying myself a lovely tropical beverage.Β ??

I also like that this product can be used for various purposes. I’ve used it as a facial serum, in my hair for a hair massage, on my hands and other dry skin areas as a moisturizer. I think it’s best uses for me are as a hair serum {before I wash my hair} and as a moisturizer for my hands/ nails. The product is quite lightweight and wears well under makeup. While I did like the Argan Oil as a facial serum, it was not really effective on my skin. Overall, I will continue to use Acure’s Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil as a hair serum and moisturizer for my hands/ nails.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading my review on Acure’s Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil. If you’ve tried this product before, what are your thoughts? Are there any other oil-based skincare products you’ve tried that have worked for you?
