Gressa Skin MINIMALIST Corrective Serum Foundation Review

The Gressa brand is a fusion of science, love and art. The creator of the company, Svetlana, utilized her formal education and her knowledge of ancient medicine to create each and every product. Gressa items transcend conventional “green beauty” products. They are unique, natural formulations that are quite pigmented and effective. Gressa products are free of silicones, preservatives, and anything that is harmful to one’s health. Gressa Skin products exemplify the modern, minimalist makeup trend. The Gressa Skin Minimalist Corrective Serum Foundation particularly is intended to create a “no makeup look”.

Gressa Skin MINIMALIST Corrective Serum Foundation Application Tips

Before using the product, make sure your skin is well moisturized. It’s really important to shake the bottle well. I usually shake it for about 30-60 secs. to mix the product thoroughly. If you don’t shake the product well enough the oils tend to separate. The Gressa Skin website suggests using 2-4 drops of the product, but I use probably 3 times that amount. ? It’s really important to not put a lot of product on your face at once. I tend to dot the product on segments of my face and then buff the foundation well before adding additional product. If you do not buff the product well enough it can appear patchy. The consistency of the serum foundation is quite runny so I would recommend to only use a few drops at a time when applying it to the skin. This foundation leaves a medium finish. I do not recommend trying to build the product to get a full coverage, less is more with the Gressa Skin Minimalist Corrective Serum Foundation. If there are areas you would like to cover up, I would suggest using a concealer.

What I Think

The Gressa Skin foundation serum is one of my favorite makeup products. I use it almost everyday. It helps to even my skin tone and keep my skin moisturized throughout the day. I also like that the foundation leaves a finish that just makes my skin glow; it really looks like a second skin. It does not make my sensitive skin break out, which is a rarity. However, on humid days it does not perform as well. So, I definitely use a setting powder with this product. While I really like the foundation, I do not like that it cannot build up to a fuller coverage. Even if you try to concentrate the product the color looks unnatural. Also, I hope that in the future the company rethinks the packaging of the product. I really like the glass bottle because it can be recycled, but I would prefer a pump instead of an eye dropper. When the product runs low, the eye dropper is pretty much ineffective in picking up the product in the bottle. Also, a pump may make using this product less messy. I’m kind of a klutz and I have managed to spill the product twice leaving a glorious mess in my bathroom. ? Regardless, I really like the integrity of the brand and its products. I have now ordered this product four times and I expect to continue to repurchase the Gressa Skin Minimalist Corrective Serum Foundation indefinitely.

Where to Shop

So far, Gressa products can be found on the official Gressa website or on the Integrity Botanicals website. I have ordered the product from both sites and have loved the customer service that have been provided from both companies. I do like that the Gressa website offers assistance with color matching so that you don’t end up purchasing the wrong shade. I used this service when I purchased my first bottle of the foundation. If this is your first time trying the Gressa Skin Corrective Serum Foundation, I would suggest ordering from Gressa and using this service, it’s super easy! For more information about the shade selection and the color matching service, click here. Recently, Integrity Botanicals added Gressa products to their long list of green beauty brands. For my last repurchase of the foundation, I used Integrity Botanicals and their service was amazing. Unlike other companies, the products arrived only a few days after ordering (some other green beauty websites take about a week or more to ship products). I also really liked the ability to add samples of other products and they thoughtfully add a handwritten note with every order. The service from Integrity Botanicals was definitely top-notch! Check out their specials and don’t forget that any order over $50 includes free shipping.
