This company started from the vision of Kirsten Kjaer Weis, a makeup artist from Denmark with over 20 years of experience. Her mission was to create a makeup line that did not irritate the skin, but also performed as well as conventional makeup brands. From this innovative idea, the Kjaer Weis brand was born. Today, consumers no longer need to sacrifice performance or safety. When it comes to cosmetics, they can have the best of both worlds.
Much like the Gressa Skin brand, Kirsten Kjaer Weis believes that less is more. The products are quite pigmented and perform very well. The packaging of the products is not only luxurious and glamorous, but also eco-friendly. Each product works with a refill system. Simply purchase the full packaging the first time and once the product runs out, all that you need to order is a refill of that product. I really like this product design because it reduces waste and it helps prevent excessive germ growth in your cosmetics. What I Think
Much like Kirsten Kjaer Weis, I too spent my childhood growing up on a family farm in Europe. I remember growing vegetables and fruit in our backyard. Those experiences have left a lasting imprint on my philosophy of using natural or organic products whenever possible. Fortunately, the Kjaer Weis Mascara is full of ingredients that are not irritating or harmful.
The smell of the mascara was the first thing that got my attention. The delicate scent comes from the lavender flower water. ? I really like the fact that this mascara goes on smooth and does not flake or smear even with all day wear. It’s a great natural mascara that lengthens lashes well. However, what I’ve noticed with this mascara, especially when the product is new, is that it does not really separate lashes well. I believe the mascara wand could be improved to help separate lashes better. Also, as with many natural mascaras, there is very little volume added to lashes. However, I think it’s a great product for a natural look. Also, it’s super easy to clean up if you accidentally get some mascara on your face, just simply wipe the product off your face and there is no issue of smearing. Surprisingly, it appears that the Kjaer Weis Mascara performs better the more you use it. Over time, I realized that it separates lashes better than the first time I used the product. Overall, I’m please with the performance of the Kjaer Weis Mascara. I’m happy I discovered this brand. It’s helped me realize that cosmetic products and beauty should be uncompromising.
